in a joyful, compassionate, and intuitive manner that provides impetus
for students’ personal and spiritual growth. To aspire to my highest
potential, and to inspire others to do the same. She currently teaches

Karen Aaronson
Karen began her yoga practice
in San Francisco, California, in 1988. A leading disciple of David
Swenson, she continues regular practice
with senior teachers in the Boston area, travels to workshops,
teacher training, and personal studios of the most senior teachers in the
country. Karen is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level -
YA sets the standards which all teachers must meet in order to register.
Karen teaches Ashtanga style
yoga which is a dynamic flowing series of postures that are linked by
breath and movement (vinyasa.) A regular practice of Ashtanga yoga will
bring strength, balance, flexibility and endurance. One need not be
flexible to begin a regular yoga practice. The classes are challenging,
but non-competitive. Each student is encouraged to practice at their own
pace to the best of their ability.
